Request for Qualifications

The Town of Sandown, NH Conservation Commission in accordance with NH RSA 31:112, II is seeking the services of a licensed NH forester to develop formal long-term forestry management plans for two designated town forests which total + / - 53 acres.

The first parcel is Map 11 Lot 6, “a.k.a.” The Fremont Road Town Forest approx. 19 acres. The second parcel is Tax Map 15 Lot 9 “a.k.a.” The Seeley Parcel approx. 34 acres.

If you have an interest in working with the Town of Sandown Conservation Commission to develop these management plans, please send

•  a resume of your educational and professional background,

•  a sample of a forest management plan written by you,

•  a list of references, including any municipalities,

•  a description of the services that you provide,

•  a schedule of fees and method of payment for your forestry services

•  and the approximate time frame that you would be available to develop the plan, no later than 6:00 p.m. , Monday, August 23, 2004 .

Information may also be delivered in person to the Selectmen's office at Town Hall during regular business hours.

Plans submitted will be reviewed and discussed by the Commission during the regular meeting on August 26, 2004 . Respondents are encouraged to attend.
