The Sandown Conservation Commission is hosting a Fall Festival on October 22nd from 10am-2pm at the Fremont Road Town Forest! Come out and enjoy the fun!
Some of the Fall Festival activities:
Mountain Bike Race 9am-11am 5-mile loop. Enter or watch the excitement! (pre-register at the link below or day of registration 7:45am – 8:30am)
Bluegrass Music by the Taylor River Band 11am -2pm
Scarecrow decoration contest (RSVP to reserve a spot. Judging at 1:00)
Pumpkin Shot Put Contest 11:30am-12:30pm Test your strength and try for a first place prize!
Duration of event:
Mountain Bike Demos by Eastern Fat Tire Association (EFTA) for the public
Family Ultimate Treasure Hunt ($5/family) for all ages!
Kids activities including bird house making and much more.
BBQ prepared by J&B Butcher and other food / beverage vendors
Recyclemobile
Sandown Food Pantry donation box and much much more!
Please bring non-perishable food items and personal care items to be donated to the Sandown Food Pantry. Suggested items always include canned meats, soups / chili, peanut butter, tuna fish, canned fruit and vegetables, and school snacks. Please be sure to check the expiration date on food items.

Also on the 22nd is the Boy Scouts Troop 268 Spooky Walk! 6:00-7:00 “not so spooky” and 7:00-10:00 very Spooky Walk. Rain date Oct. 29th. Tickets will be sold at the gate.
